bridget murphy, that was ma grans name, then she met my granda isacc mcgowan when she was 14 they got married wen she was 19 and had her 1st child wen she was 20. my gran had 4 sisters, who have all now passed away, annie, lilly, katie n agnes, my gran had 8 kids, betty 1st, then 4 boys, dan john james and joe, then marie anne(my mum) then the youngest theresa, she had 20 gran weans, who she loved terribley, spoiled us far 2 much(especially me) ha. she also has loads of gr8 grand weans 2, she will b lookin down on the new ones that she didnt get 2 meet, :( she was brought up in langloan then moved 2 allan street kirkwood then springhill ave, thats were my granda still lives with me ma mum n ma step dad jack, he loves us been here just as much as we love stayin here, my granda has neva bn the same since my gran passed, he's still as daft and funny but he misses her and james thier son who passed away 2 yrs ago, he died on the 6/6/06 with lung cancer, aged 57, far 2 young and quick, but at least they have each other. sum of the family have grew closer since they passed which is gr8, i dnt know wot i wld do without my cousins. my gran was like a mum 2 me, as im an only child i used tae stay way her nearly evernite, and she spoiled me tae bits, shh, sorry ever1 but she did :) lol!!! cancer got my gran 2, she fought it then wen she was 81 she took a stroke and then that was it, she just couldnt fight it anymore, but we were all with her when she went, im so glad i was there 2 say goodbye, well gran we all love u and miss u and my uncle james so so so so much, gd nite, ur up with all ur sisters and ur son and i dare say ur having a ball as u would say, ha, love u always and forever mwah xxxxxxxxxxxxxx btw thats oor leeanne angie en me(donna marie) in the pic cany find 1 of my gran, i'll take 1 n put it on durin the week !!!! xxx

her journey has just begun

this earth is only one.
Just think of gran as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think of how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much

hi gran just thought i wld make u a page 2 since my uncle james has 1, i love u so much, n miss u like mad, wen i was in ur room 2day i get all choked up, as usuall, im still a tiny tears, haha, guess uve seen my grandas wee table, wits he like, its like a wee alter 4 u, he's still mad, i love stayin here gran, just feels like home 2 me anyway as i stayed here most eh my life, i was sayin 2 my mum the other day u wld kill her if u were here coz wit shes doin 2 the garden, shes rippin all the trees n flowers out, my granda said if cissy wiz here u wldnt b doin that, i was killin myself laughin, well gd ngt, love u, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
